Premier Inn Surabaya Rebrands to Premier Place Surabaya Focusing on Values and Service Excellence
Surabaya, August 31st, 2017 — Last year Whitbread announced that Premier Inn would commence a phased withdrawal from its operations in South East Asia and India to focus its international growth on a smaller number of specific markets in the Middle East and Germany. This withdrawal includes exiting Premier Inn Surabaya.
Following a successful first year under the UK’s award winning hospitality brand, Premier Inn Surabaya, a three star pioneer in the Juanda Airport area will rebrand to Premier Place as of 1st September 2017. The hotel has undergone an extensive rebranding programme which focuses on maintaining the standards whilst investing in the new brand values and service excellence.
The current owner PT Tasland Indonesia and the hotel team will operate the hotel under the new name of Premier Place. “After a strong first year performance the new brand gives us an opportunity to re-focus and build on the strong foundations already in place. Premier Place will continue to serve all of our guests with extensive products and services. Business will be running as usual during the transition period and over the coming months we will be upgrading our facilities and improving our services ,” said Nila A. Kolondam, the General Manager of Premier Place Surabaya.
