Premier Place Hotels marked National Children's Day with a morning Yoga activity involving children living in the vicinity of the hotel to encourage them to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Children's Day is celebrated every year on July 23, The hotel meanwhile, celebrated two days pior on July 21 to coincide with the weekend, when students did not attend school and were therefore free to take part in the yoga session.
The event was participated in by 30 children between the ages of 5 and 12 who enthusiastically followed the instructor's movements - from warming up, relaxation to meditation poses.
"Through the activity, we want to also raise parent's awareness to importance of boosting the physical quality of their children's lives" Hotel Premier Place marketing communication officer Sheila Ardilla said.
To promote well-rounded healthy lifestyle awareness, the hotel complemented the yoga session with fruit-based vegetarian food and beverages such as fruit salad and juices.
